Job Title: Principal Specialist, HSE

KBR, Inc. is a leading engineering and project management services company that provides expertise to the oil and gas industry. We are seeking a highly skilled Principal Specialist, HSE to join our team.

About the Role:

The Principal Specialist, HSE will be responsible for implementing health, safety, and environmental policies, procedures, and guidelines for employee and department safety. This includes creating incident reports, performing inspections, and ensuring conformity in all areas of HSE.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement health, safety, and environmental policies, procedures, and guidelines for employee and department safety.
• Create incident reports and perform inspections to ensure conformity in all areas of HSE.
• Interact with services personnel, clients, subcontractors, and regulatory agencies to research and interpret standards, codes, and regulations.
• Determine requisites for and organize audits of company-operated properties.
• Keep informed of regulatory requirements and auditing standards.
• Assist in the development and implementation of systems and standards to facilitate the capturing and analysis of HSE statistics.
• Under general direction, direct the daily activities of a business, technical support, or functional support team.
• Establish priorities for the completion of assigned tasks.
• Use judgment to interpret internal and external issues and develop best practices.
• May direct resources, prioritize tasks, and provide guidance to less experienced team members.

Requirements:

The ideal candidate will have an undergraduate degree and 7+ years of experience in a related field. Strong knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations and standards is required.
