Job Summary

Parsons Oman is seeking a highly skilled BIM Modeler to join our team. As a BIM Modeler, you will be responsible for creating and managing building information models using Autodesk Revit and other BIM software.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist project teams in creating and managing BIM models, including modeling and detailing.
  • Create models using BIM software, including Autodesk Revit and Dynamo.
  • Generate models in Autodesk Revit, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of BIM processes and standards.
  • Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure model accuracy and consistency.
  • Develop and implement BIM-related processes and procedures to ensure project success.
  • Provide training and support to project teams on BIM software and best practices.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments in BIM technology.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Civil, Structural, Architectural Engineering or relevant field from an accredited university/institution.
  • 5+ years of extensive work experience in modeling/drafting of dry utilities for projects which includes Reinforced concrete modeling and Precast concrete modeling.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong knowledge of BIM software, including Autodesk Revit and Dynamo.
  • Experience with Common Data Environment: ProjectWise or Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC) or BIM360.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in modeling of Steel Structures.
  • Good knowledge in BIM, understanding LOD requirements and BIM processes.
  • Work experience in a multinational environment.
