Data Privacy Role Overview

The Data Privacy Manager position involves ensuring the organization's data management practices comply with relevant data protection regulations and Saudi's Personal Data Protection laws. This role requires developing, implementing, and monitoring privacy policies, conducting regular audits to ensure compliance with data privacy laws and regulations, and identifying potential privacy risks.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain data privacy policies, procedures, and guidelines in alignment with national and international data protection regulations.
  • Conduct regular audits and assessments to ensure compliance with data privacy laws and regulations.
  • Identify and assess potential privacy risks and work with relevant teams to mitigate them.
  • Promote a culture of data privacy and protection within the organization.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in IT, Law, Information Security, Computer Science, or a related field. CIPP, CIPM, CIPT is preferred.
  • 10+ years of experience in data privacy, data protection, or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of data protection laws and regulations, such as PDPL, GDPR, CCPA, or equivalent national regulations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and educate stakeholders on data privacy matters.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
