The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, promoting a culture of safety, and mitigating risks associated with project activities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive HSE management systems and procedures for infrastructure projects, aligned with local regulations, international standards, and company policies.
  • Lead the development and implementation of HSE plans, risk assessments, and emergency response plans for infrastructure projects, in collaboration with project teams and stakeholders.
  • Conduct regular HSE inspections, audits, and assessments to identify hazards, assess risks, and ensure compliance with HSE requirements, standards, and best practices.
  • Provide HSE guidance and support to project managers, engineers, subcontractors, and other stakeholders, promoting a proactive approach to identifying and mitigating risks.
  • Coordinate and deliver HSE training, inductions, and awareness programs for project personnel, ensuring understanding and adherence to HSE policies, procedures, and practices.
  • Investigate incidents, accidents, and near misses, analyzing root causes and contributing factors, and recommending corrective and preventive actions to prevent recurrence.
  • Monitor and report on HSE performance, trends, and key performance indicators (KPIs), providing regular updates and recommendations to senior management and stakeholders.
  • Liaise with regulatory authorities, clients, and third-party stakeholders on HSE matters, ensuring compliance with legal requirements and contractual obligations.

Your Qualifications:
The ideal candidate should possess a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Science, Occupational Health & Safety, or related field, with a Master's degree preferred. Proven experience in HSE management within the construction industry, with a focus on infrastructure projects such as roads, highways, tunnels, and bridges, is also essential.
