About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Piping Engineer II to join our team at Asterix Communications. As a key member of our engineering services team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality piping engineering services that meet our clients' needs.


Key Responsibilities
  1. Project Delivery
    Deliver piping engineering services that meet our clients' specifications, on time and within budget.
  2. Engineering Services
    Perform piping engineering services such as:
    1. Identify and report changes to project scope.
    2. Assist with the preparation of proposals, estimates, budgets, and schedules.
    3. Provide assistance during procurement, construction, and commissioning activities.
    4. Contribute to appropriate studies, analyses, and recommend actions.
    5. Assist with the preparation of detailed designs and drawings, specifications, data, calculations, and reports.
  3. Technical Expertise
    Keep up-to-date with the latest developments and technical innovations in piping engineering.
  4. Team Support
    Assist and support junior personnel within the piping engineering team.
  5. Communication
    Communicate effectively with the piping engineering team and project stakeholders.
  6. Problem-Solving
    Identify issues and problems, develop appropriate solutions, and ask for assistance when required.

Requirements
  1. Technical and Industry Experience
    Effective technical and practical engineering skills and ability to consistently deliver quality, accurate, and timely work.
  2. Industry Knowledge
    A good working knowledge of the fundamental requirements of piping engineering and the basic requirements of other engineering fields.
  3. Software Skills
    Competent use of piping engineering specific software and relevant software such as MS Office Suite.
  4. Education
    A recognized degree in the relevant engineering discipline or equivalent.

Preferred Qualifications
  1. Chartered Professional Engineer (CPEng) Status
    Chartered Professional Engineer (CPEng) status is highly desirable.
