Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Medical Physicist to join our team at Eastern Health Cluster. The successful candidate will contribute to the daily planning of treatments and quality assurance tests for equipment under the direct supervision of a senior radiation oncology physicist.
Key Responsibilities:
- Contribute to the development and implementation of treatment plans and quality assurance protocols.
- Collaborate with radiation oncology physicists and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless treatment delivery.
- Perform quality assurance tests and maintain equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in radiation oncology and medical physics.
Requirements:
- Master's Degree in Medical Physics or a related field.
- PhD Degree in Medical Physics or a related field.
- Licensed with the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties (Senior Specialist – Senior Medical Physicist).
- At least two years of experience in radiation oncology after completing a Master's Degree.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with radiation therapy equipment and quality assurance protocols.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
