Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Pharmacology Professor to join our faculty at Fakeeh College. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching, research, and service in the Department of Pharmacology.

  • Teaching and Research: Teach courses in pharmacology, conduct research, and publish findings in reputable journals to maintain academic excellence.
  • Scholarly Contributions: Participate in scholarly activities, including peer review and assessment processes, to advance knowledge in pharmacology.
  • Student Support: Provide guidance to undergraduate and postgraduate students on research projects, dissertations, assignments, and project work, ensuring a fair and equal learning environment.
  • Departmental Roles: Undertake specific departmental roles and management functions as required by authorities, contributing to the overall quality assurance and improvement of the program.
Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for the following:

  • Developing and implementing curricula that meet the needs of students and align with accreditation standards.
  • Conducting research and publishing findings in reputable journals to maintain academic excellence.
  • Mentoring students on research projects, dissertations, assignments, and project work.
  • Participating in scholarly activities, including peer review and assessment processes, to advance knowledge in pharmacology.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A PhD in Pharmacology or a related field.
  • Experience in teaching and research in pharmacology.
  • A strong publication record in reputable journals.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
