Job Description

The Cybersecurity Protection Specialist will play a critical role in protecting our organization's assets from cyber threats. This individual will design and implement effective security measures to safeguard our network infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities
  • Endpoint Protection Management: Develop and implement strategies to prevent cyber threats at the endpoint level.
  • Firewall Management: Design and configure firewalls to ensure secure access to our network.
  • DMZ Management: Implement protocols to segregate public-facing services from internal networks.
  • Network Access Control: Configure systems to enforce access policies and monitor user activity.
  • VPN Management: Manage VPN connections to ensure secure remote access to our network.
  • Intrusion Prevention Systems (IPS): Implement IPS to detect and prevent malicious traffic.
  • Mail Gateway Management: Filter out spam and malware from incoming emails.
  • Web Proxy Gateways: Configure systems to inspect and filter HTTP traffic.
  • Mobile Device Management (MDM): Implement MDM solutions to secure employee devices.
  • Data Loss Prevention: Develop strategies to protect sensitive data.
  • Data Classification: Establish policies to categorize and protect sensitive information.
  • Identity and Access Management: Design and implement systems to ensure secure access to resources.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a relevant field.
  • Hands-on experience with proxy servers, DLP, and EDR.
