We're seeking an experienced professional to lead our Natural Language Processing efforts. In this role, you will contribute to developing and implementing NLP models, applying problem-solving skills, and supporting pretraining and fine-tuning Large Language Models.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement NLP models that yield significant business results.
  • Apply analytical thinking to identify and develop innovative solutions, with a focus on continuous learning and growth.
  • Support the development and fine-tuning of LLMs for specific applications, such as document summarization and question answering.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deploy models, monitor outcomes, and iterate on solutions.
  • Analyse data to uncover insights that can enhance model performance and drive business outcomes.
  • Select suitable algorithms, techniques, and methodologies for addressing specific NLP challenges.
  • Communicate the results of model development and experiments effectively.
  • Stay updated with the latest advancements in NLP, machine learning, and related fields, expanding your knowledge and skills.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, or a related field.
  • Strong proficiency in Arabic language, with knowledge of Modern Standard Arabic grammar and morphology a plus.
  • +3 years of experience as a Data Scientist or similar role.
  • Demonstrated expertise in machine learning, NLP, and deep learning techniques.
  • Familiarity with Python's NLP libraries, including NLTK, SpaCy, and Hugging Face Transformers.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on product development.
  • Hands-on experience in deep learning frameworks like TensorFlow or PyTorch.
  • R&D experience a plus.
  • Experience in pre-training, fine-tuning, and building LLMs, with notable results a plus.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, or Azure a plus.
  • Must possess exceptional skills, relevance, and a strong sense of ownership.
