Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Engineer to join our team at handwerker. As a key member of the organization, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the highest standards of quality and safety across all aspects of our business.

Main Responsibilities:
  1. Develop and maintain a robust quality management system (QMS) that meets regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
  2. Conduct regular audits and assessments to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement quality and safety training programs.
  4. Ensure compliance with OH&S and Environmental regulations, working closely with external partners and stakeholders.
  5. Foster a culture of continuous improvement, encouraging staff to report incidents and near-misses and participate in investigations and root cause analyses.
Requirements and Qualifications:
  • Minimum 5 years technical experience in the Aviation Industry, preferably with a Part 66 License or equivalent engineering degree.
  • Proven experience as a Quality Auditor, with a solid understanding of Safety and Risk management principles.
  • Strong knowledge of OH&S and Environmental requirements, with OHS qualifications a plus.
  • Excellent leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills, with the ability to influence others and drive change.
  • A team player with a proactive attitude, able to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
