**Job Overview**
We are seeking an experienced Aircraft Maintenance Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance crew, you will be responsible for conducting comprehensive aircraft maintenance on the UH60, following specific guidelines from the OEM Operators Manual and other relevant directives.
You will perform tasks such as removing and installing aircraft systems, subsystem assemblies, and components, including engines, rotors, gearboxes, transmissions, and mechanical flight controls. Additionally, you will service and lubricate aircraft systems, subsystems, and components, preparing the aircraft for inspections and maintenance checks.
The ideal candidate will have experience in aviation maintenance and logistics, with a minimum of 5 years' experience as an aircraft mechanic on the UH60 series. You will also possess FAA A&P and IA certificates.
In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing and troubleshooting aircraft subsystems using special tools and equipment, and performing operator maintenance on tools, special tools, and Aircraft Ground Support Equipment (AGSE).
Responsibilities:
- Ensures that UH60 Aircraft maintenance functional activities and procedures among designated organizations are planned, coordinated, integrated, and synchronized to achieve established platform operational readiness objectives.
- Responsible for the compliance with established maintenance systems, processes, procedures and reports that provide immediate situational awareness of platform readiness rates.
- Establishes daily maintenance operational goals, objectives and priorities for implementation in order to achieve stated readiness rates and MNG training objectives as required.
- Oversees the daily maintenance management of individually assigned aircraft in support of the Aviation Maintenance Manager.
- Works within the maintenance quality control processes, procedures, and standards.
- Directs inquiries, investigations, and research analysis related to aviation maintenance of UH60 Aircraft and supporting maintenance activities.
