About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a highly skilled and experienced Fire Engineering Technical Lead to join our team in Riyadh. As a key member of our fire engineering team, you will be responsible for overseeing the design of fire strategy, fire detection and suppression systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical guidance to design consultants via regular review meetings and formal requests for information.
  • Act as the single point of contact for technical issues between design consultants and wider NEOM functions, sectors and departments.
  • Lead design review of technical design deliverables, with reference to THE LINE Codes, Standards & Guidelines and Requirements.
  • Develop consistency in design solutions across THE LINE.
  • Evaluate and mitigate risks associated with fire safety designs.

In addition to your technical expertise, you will also drive innovation and best practice in the design delivery by appointed consultants, ensuring that all designs meet the highest standards of quality and safety.

Requirements
  • Degree and/or postgraduate qualification in a relevant field of study or equivalent. Chartered membership of a recognized professional institution/organization or Professional Engineer preferred.
  • Saudi nationals with a minimum of 5 years' professional experience, a substantial part being in the required expertise discipline.
  • Significant discipline/international industry presence.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of codes, standards & guidelines relating to electrical distribution systems and energy storage. A working knowledge of fire detection systems, communication systems and other extra-low voltage distribution.
  • Deep knowledge of the sustainability industry.
  • Strong communication skills to articulate a clear technical direction with good social, networking and presentation skills.
