**Ecological Design Expert Wanted**

JASARA PMC is seeking an Ecological Design Expert to join our team. As a key member of our environmental and sustainability team, you will work collaboratively with our professionals to develop and implement ecological design solutions that promote sustainability.

**Responsibilities**

We are looking for an experienced professional who can:

  • Work closely with our environmental and sustainability team to develop and implement ecological design solutions;
  • Conduct thorough research on local legislation, international best practices, and standards to ensure compliance;
  • Write and illustrate environmentally sustainable planning principles, concepts, strategies, controls, and guidelines;
  • Apply a holistic approach to all projects to deliver environmentally sustainable design solutions within accepted professional and client parameters;
  • Prepare and write environmental and sustainability reports for planning and design projects;
  • Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to complete environmental and sustainability aspects of land development, master planning, and building development projects;
  • Provide technical environmental and sustainability expertise and administration, including sustainable land-use planning, sustainable urban and infrastructure design, and sustainable building design.

**Requirements**

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD in Environmental Engineering or an equivalent field;
  • At least 3 years of experience in environmental and sustainability design projects;
  • Experience with Environmental Impact Assessments (EIA's);
  • Strong skills in value engineering, engineering planning and review, design and specification, design review, quality management, stakeholder management and communication, risk and opportunity management, supplier relationship management, auditing and compliance, health and safety and environment management, Saudi Building Code, policies and standards development.
