Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Field Operator to join our team at ENGIE Group. As a Field Operator, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of our water treatment facilities, ensuring that our customers receive high-quality water.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate and monitor water treatment equipment, including reverse osmosis systems, to ensure optimal performance and water quality.
  • Conduct regular maintenance and repairs on equipment to prevent downtime and ensure smooth operation.
  • Collect and analyze data on water quality and treatment processes to identify areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with other teams to ensure seamless operation of the facility and to address any issues that may arise.
  • Develop and implement procedures to improve water treatment processes and reduce costs.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards, including health and safety protocols.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
  • 1-2 years of experience in water treatment or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of water treatment processes and equipment.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Working Conditions

The Field Operator will work in a controlled hazardous environment, with exposure to risks such as traffic/automobile accidents, ergonomic problems, and accidents. Personal protective equipment will be provided, including hard hat/safety helmet, ear protection, safety glasses, safety shoes, dust mask, cotton coveralls, safety gloves, cotton vest, and respiratory mask.

Medical Exams/Laboratory Exams

Before taking the position, the candidate will undergo a complete medical physical examination, visual acuity examination, color blindness test, and audiometric test. For persons older than 45 years, laboratory tests will be required, including complete blood biometrics, blood chemistry, and a general exam of urine. An electrocardiogram and X-ray PA of thorax will also be required.

Medical Criteria

The candidate must not present a blood pressure greater than 135/85 in case of present alteration and individual monitoring program. Obesity must be monitored and reduced through a weight reduction program.
