Job Role: Technical Operations Supervisor
This position involves leading the installation of equipment, ensuring high quality and timely delivery. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing on-site communication with customers, coordinating with field supervisors, and promoting regular and proactive communication. As a technical operations supervisor, you will be responsible for driving and executing the VA & VB repair activities and managing a team of technicians.
Main Responsibilities:
- Lead the installation team in delivering high-quality installations according to KONE's methods and standards.
- Manage on-site communication with customers, ensuring their needs are met and expectations exceeded.
- Coordinate with field supervisors to ensure seamless execution of installation activities.
- Promote regular and proactive communication among team members and stakeholders.
- Ensure the security and integrity of delivered equipment during installation.
- Carry out installations according to pre-determined methods and schedules.
- Report installation progress to field supervisors and other stakeholders.
- Keep installation tooling safe and in good condition.
- Promote quality feedback forms and contribute to ongoing improvement.
- React quickly to unexpected events by communicating with field supervisors.
- Apply lean principles to avoid interruptions and consistently follow huddle initiatives.
Requirements:
An ITI/Vocational Certificate course/Diploma in Engineering in Electrical/Electronics/Automation streams or equivalent. A minimum of 5 years of experience in Preventive Maintenance. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Proficiency in basic IT skills. A solid foundation in digital technologies is essential.
