Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled Nuclear Medicine Consultant to join our team at Ben Khan. As a key member of our Radiology department, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and medical expertise in the field of Nuclear Medicine.
Key Responsibilities- Clinical Expertise:
- Provide exceptional patient care and medical services in Abdominal Radiology, adhering to approved clinical privileges.
- Offer consultation services to inpatients and emergency room patients, responding promptly within the prescribed timeframe.
- Ensure timely completion, accuracy, and eligibility of medical records.
- Provide on-call services and ensure availability and response time within the prescribed timeframe.
- Conduct daily morning rounds to identify patients ready for discharge and ensure discharge orders are written 24 hours prior to discharge.
- Perform other clinical responsibilities related to Nuclear Medicine, as assigned.
- Academic and Research Responsibilities:
- Provide orientation, bedside training, and supervision to interns, residents, and fellows as assigned.
- Participate in departmental educational activities and training programs.
- Engage in national and international medical conferences to maintain and enhance professional knowledge.
- Contribute to clinical, basic, and translational research projects to advance knowledge and improve postgraduate education.
- Administrative Responsibilities:
- Undertake administrative duties assigned by the Head of Section or Chairman.
- Participate in mandatory departmental activities and serve on departmental and hospital committees.
- Assist the department in developing and implementing techniques and practices to maximize resource utilization.
- Abide by hospital and medical staff bylaws, rules, and regulations, and stay updated on any changes.
- Follow hospital-related policies and procedures.
- Participate in self-and others' education, training, and development as applicable.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
