Credit Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Credit Supervisor to join our team at Rayhaan Hotels & Resorts. As a key member of our Finance department, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our credit department.

• Examine Credit Demands: Review and analyze all credit demands originating from our hotel departments to ensure compliance with our credit policies.
• Supervise Accounts Receivable: Oversee the Accounts Receivable activities, including billings, payment postings, and internal follow-ups to ensure timely payment.
• Collection and Follow-up: Follow up on collections of Accounts Receivable, taking necessary actions to secure timely payment and emphasizing on overdue amounts.
• Reporting and Communication: Ensure that necessary information regarding overdue accounts is supplied to the Credit Manager periodically.
• Guest and Credit Card Queries: Respond to guest and credit card queries and account disputes in a professional and timely manner.
• Review and Follow-up: Review guest ledger high balances and make necessary follow-ups with the Front Office to secure additional credit information or obtain immediate settlement.
• Global Billings and Deposits: Organize global billings for conventions, seminars, and groups to ensure that all services were charged according to the agreement.
• Advance Deposits and Credits: Control the advance deposits account and ensure that credits are applied properly or refunded if not used.

• Education and Qualifications: A degree in hotel management or accounting is required, along with at least one year of previous experience within a hotel environment.
• Communication and Computer Skills: Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and computer literacy are essential.
• Knowledge and Competencies: The ideal candidate will be results-oriented, a self-motivator, and a positive attitude. They will have the ability to think laterally and analytically, display a high level of integrity, and have the ability to identify, impact, and influence others.
