Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Architectural Design Manager to join our team at Nesma. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical support and guidance to the Engineering Team, ensuring the timely completion of projects, and developing and institutionalizing Nesma's Engineering database and capabilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical support and guidance to the Engineering Team on technical matters
  • Ensure the timely completion of projects and adherence to required standards
  • Develop and institutionalize Nesma's Engineering database and capabilities
  • Provide advisory support to other parts of the organization on complex technical matters
  • Support the Design Team Leaders and Design Managers in the preparation of Engineering Department's outputs
  • Monitor and review project progress, including drawing schedules and CADD and Engineering Hours
  • Study and propose architectural design solutions for projects
  • Coordinate with Procurement Unit Heads for vendors' drawings and material selection
  • Ensure productive work distribution and work allocation to all Architect Team Leaders, Architects, and Cad Operators
  • Evaluate the Architectural Unit Team and recommend necessary trainings to enhance its potential productivity
  • Conduct site inspection visits, site coordination meetings, and site as-built take off
  • Elaborate minutes of meetings for all coordination meetings with Site and Procurement
Requirements
  • Strong technical knowledge and experience in architectural design and engineering
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in a team environment and provide guidance and support to others
  • Proficiency in InDesign, AutoCAD, and other relevant software
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
