About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Event Strategist to join our team at Tahaluf. As a key member of our events division, you will be responsible for developing and executing high-level industry conferences.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record in conference production, with excellent organisational skills, commercial awareness, and research-based knowledge. You will be confident in speaking to expert speakers from around the world and selling the unique opportunity to showcase their knowledge and expertise at our event.

You will work closely with our Director and sales team to generate ideas for enhancing our conference portfolio, recommending new conference tracks and programmes. Additionally, you will maintain existing relationships with key opinion leaders and institutions, while building new connections to develop conferences with relevant topics and speakers.

Main Responsibilities
  1. Produce high-level industry-relevant conference programmes.
  2. Liaise with key professionals and institutions in the production of conference programmes.
  3. Engage with recommended speakers and confirm their attendance.
  4. Manage the speaker database to provide current and accurate speaker lists and files for event management.
  5. Prepare creative brief documents for the Marketing team.
  6. Conduct telesales briefs and set follow-up meetings to track progress.
  7. Ensure CME/CPD application forms and supporting documentation are completed online within deadlines.
  8. Assist in providing leads to the sponsorship team and attend sales meetings as required.
  9. Mentor other conference producers within the team.
  10. Conduct post-show analysis of the event, including job title analysis.
About You
  • Educated to degree level or equivalent.
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in conference production.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Commercial awareness and research-based knowledge.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
