Job Summary:

Sisco Jobs is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Safety Officer to join our team. As a Safety Officer, you will be responsible for implementing and enforcing safety policies and procedures in compliance with local and national regulations.

Main Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement safety policies and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
  2. Conduct regular safety inspections and audits to identify potential hazards and take corrective actions.
  3. Provide training and guidance to employees on safety procedures and protocols.
  4. Investigate and report on accidents, incidents, and near misses, and implement corrective actions to prevent future occurrences.
  5. Collaborate with management and employees to identify and mitigate safety hazards.
  6. Conduct risk assessments and recommend control measures to minimize risks.
  7. Monitor and ensure the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
  8. Ensure compliance with emergency procedures and conduct regular emergency drills.
  9. Provide guidance and support to employees on safety-related issues.

Essential Qualifications:

  1. NEBOSH IGC certification.
  2. Valid driving license.
  3. Proven experience as a Safety Officer with a minimum of 2 years in a similar role.
  4. Thorough knowledge of safety legislation and procedures.
  5. Ability to conduct risk assessments and enforce preventative measures.
  6. Familiarity with reporting and documenting safety incidents.
  7. Proficient in using Microsoft Office and safety management software.

  1. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  2. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  3. Attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
  4. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  5. Good organizational and time management skills.
  6. Physical ability to conduct inspections and investigations.

  1. Saudi experience preferred.
  2. Willingness to relocate to Saudi Arabia.
  3. Ability to pass a pre-employment physical and background check.
  4. Availability for immediate deployment.
