Job Summary: We are seeking a Product Merchandising Coordinator to join our team in the Center Store Non-Perishable Department. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for merchandising and stocking product, communicating with vendors, and ensuring optimal inventory levels.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage merchandise areas, including receiving and stocking product upon delivery
  • Communicate effectively with sales representatives from various vendors to ensure minimal out-of-stocks, proper stock levels, and timely promotions
  • Order and manage inventory through effective vendor communication
  • Ensure freshness and quality of center store merchandise using Date Check Pro software

Requirements:

  • Availability: Must be able to work 20-30 hours per week, including nights and weekends, based on department needs
  • Previous Work Experience: Ordering and stocking experience preferred; we will train
  • Physical Demands: Repetitive lifting up to 50#; occasional lifting up to 80#
  • Other Work Considerations: Customer service orientation; ability to work with minimal supervision; organizational ability; reliability; dependability
