Job Title: Telecom Advisory Expert

We are seeking a highly motivated and ambitious accountant with a proven track record of delivering high-quality client projects in the telecom sector. The successful candidate will have a commercially rounded mindset focusing on client requirements and needs, as well as an ability to work in a demanding environment.

About the Role:
  • The role requires providing clients with expert advice on International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and its practical applications in the telecom sector.
  • You will be responsible for conducting in-depth research on complex accounting matters and preparing technical papers for discussion with senior team members.
  • This is a dynamic role that involves managing multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks and commitments while maintaining a balance between projects.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with key client staff, internal team members, and other stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to identify and deliver innovative solutions to complex accounting challenges.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • In-depth understanding of IFRS and general accounting principles in the telecom sector.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and strategically.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
Educational Background:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in business studies, accounting, or finance.
  • Certification in accounting: ACA, ACCA, CPA, or similar accounting certification.
Professional Experience:
  • 5-7 years' experience providing accounting advisory services to telecom clients in a Big 4 firm.
  • Experience in the GCC region is beneficial.
Personal Qualities:
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team, prioritizing workload while being resilient under pressure and meeting tight deadlines.
  • Ambitious and motivated individual with a passion for enhancing technical accounting skills.
