About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Architect to lead our infrastructure project in Riyadh. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing the project and supervising teams to deliver high-quality architectural projects on time.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Management: Manage the project lifecycle, ensuring timely delivery of architectural project deliverables in line with client requirements and local/international building codes.
  • Team Supervision: Supervise teams to deliver high-quality architectural projects, coordinating with local/international building codes authority regulations.
  • Quality Control: Review quality of work completed with the project team to ensure it meets project standards.
  • Client Interface: Lead interface with the client project team regarding all site architectural matters.
  • Design Review: Review architectural designs, shop drawings, materials, method statements, and samples to ensure adherence to the concept & IFC drawings throughout the site construction process.
  • Sample Review: Ensure samples are well reviewed for client requirements and coordinate with client approving authority/PMC prior to issuing approval to the contractor.
  • Specification Management: Ensure standard architectural specifications are maintained and kept up-to-date.
  • Employer Requirements: Ensure employer requirements are implemented.
  • Design Reviews: Initiate and participate in design reviews in alignment with the QMS system.
  • Design Coordination: Coordinate with the Design Architect for all combined or related architectural packages & site queries.
Requirements
  • Education: Degree educated, fully qualified Architect with over 15 years post-graduate working experience and 8 years in KSA or GCC supervision role.
  • Experience: Previous experience of working as a site-based architect with detailed knowledge of post-contract supervision role and responsibilities related to review of contractor's shop drawings, submittals, and site inspection procedures.
  • Skills: Experience with Local Authorities regulations, IBC & NBC codes, and coordination with FLS & Civil Defense code compliances.
  • Software: Working knowledge of AutoCAD, Revit, Navisworks, BIM.
  • Project Type: Experience of working on commercial/residential high-rise/tall tower building projects.
  • Language: Excellent written and communication skills in the English language, with the ability to build excellent client relations through communication and multi-disciplinary coordination skills.
