Job Summary

Horizon Contracting is seeking a highly skilled Laboratory Technician to join our team. As a key member of our laboratory, you will be responsible for examining and preparing concrete and aggregate samples for testing, issuing testing instructions to technicians and assistant technicians, and carrying out tests and checks on the test results.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Sample Preparation: Examine and prepare concrete and aggregate samples for testing, ensuring accuracy and precision in all samples.
  2. Testing and Quality Control: Carry out tests and checks on the test results, ensuring compliance with industry standards and company protocols.
  3. Reporting and Documentation: Calculate and check test results, and assist in the preparation of reports, ensuring clear and concise communication of results.
  4. Equipment Management: Manage and maintain test equipment in the laboratory, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency.
  5. Site Testing: Conduct sampling and testing on site, as required, to ensure accurate and reliable results.
Requirements

Language Proficiency: Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, with fluency in Arabic.

Education and Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role, with a strong background in concrete testing and laboratory procedures.
