Shipyard Outfitting Expert

We are seeking an experienced Hull Outfitting Engineer to join our team in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safe, effective, and efficient utilization of physical and human resources employed in all fabrication/construction related project activities with a background knowledge of Piping Systems Layouts, Hydraulic and Pneumatic systems, inspection equipment, hydro test, and air test.

This is a challenging opportunity for a skilled engineer to lead a team of electrical outfitting technicians and provide guidance, training, and performance feedback.

You will be responsible for supervising and coordinating the installation activities and performing inspection tests such as hydrostatic and air test to ensure compliance with safety regulations and functional performance.

• Main Responsibilities:
• Installation and inspection of module units, pipeline, structural elements, operating outfitting devices, and valve remote control system.
• Team Leadership and Coordination: Lead a team of electrical outfitting technicians and provide guidance, training, and performance feedback.
• Planning and scheduling: Develop a clear production execution strategy and plan for piping/welding works, load analysis, block transportation/arrangement, and manpower.
• Safety Compliance: Implement and enforce safety protocols, risk assessment measures, and personal protective equipment requirements.
• Quality Control and Assurance: Ensure adherence to quality standards and inspection procedures during hull outfitting operations.
• Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of hull outfitting activities, including work orders, installation reports, and quality control documentation.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• A Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum of 3-9 years of experience in a relevant field.
• Ability to read and trace pipes and Module units drawings.
• Ability to monitor, plan, and arrange manpower.
• Management, Leadership, and communication skills.
• Knowledge of pipe jointing methods.
• Knowledge of applying Hydro Test and Air Test.

Our client offers a competitive salary of $120,000 - $180,000 per annum, commensurate with experience, and a range of benefits, including health insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off.
