The Health and Safety Specialist will oversee and ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations while fostering a culture of safety across the park.
This position involves working closely with various teams to implement HSE policies and procedures effectively, as well as monitoring compliance and identifying areas for improvement.
Main Responsibilities- Policy Development: Assist in the development and implementation of health, safety, and environmental policies, standards, and procedures.
- Compliance Monitoring: Conduct regular inspections and assessments to ensure compliance with HSE regulations and standards.
- Safety Performance Analysis: Monitor safety performance and prepare reports on HSE metrics and trends.
- Staff Guidance: Provide guidance and support to staff on health, safety, and environmental issues.
- Incident Investigations: Participate in incident investigations, ensuring thorough analysis and implementation of corrective actions.
- HSE Training: Conduct HSE training and orientation for new employees and ongoing education for all staff.
- Culture Promotion: Collaborate with various departments to promote a culture of safety and compliance throughout the park.
A bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field is required. A minimum of 3 years of experience in HSE compliance within a large organization is also necessary.
Strong knowledge of HSE regulations and standards, excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills are essential. Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus. Relevant HSE certifications are preferred.
