About the Role

Noon Academy is a leading ed-tech platform in the Middle East, with a mission to transform the physical classroom experience by introducing engaging social, group-based learning and AI to make learning fun and improve learning efficacy.

We are seeking an experienced English Language Instructor to support our teaching of English as a Second Language (ESL) strategy by preparing and delivering creative, engaging, and contextual hybrid lessons to the highest standards of ELT.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Lesson Planning and Delivery: Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality, differentiated lessons that meet the needs of different competency levels in the classroom and take into account individual learning styles.
  2. Material Preparation: Be punctual and timely in preparing and uploading all material needed before the beginning of the lesson after incorporating feedback.
  3. Student Progress Monitoring: Develop mechanisms to monitor progress and provide regular feedback to help manage students' performance throughout the course, and actively promote learner autonomy.
  4. Course Development: Contribute to the development, evaluation, and improvement of English language courses and materials to meet students' needs based on key metrics.
  5. Professional Development: Actively engage in research, professional development, and performance management to ensure quality and high standards in teaching and learning.
  6. Digital Assessment: Develop, curate, and deploy digital assessment tools to assess student baseline competency and monthly progress.
  7. Technical Knowledge: Demonstrate keenness to learn the technical aspects of Noon's platform and identify changes needed to improve learning.

Contract Details: This is a remote, contractual position requiring 20-25 hours of work per week, Sunday-Thursday.
