About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled NDT Technician with Radiographic Testing (RT) Level 2 certification to join our team at SGS. As a key member of our inspection team, you will be responsible for conducting RT inspections and ensuring compliance with Aramco standards and procedures.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Conduct Radiographic Testing (RT) inspections to ensure compliance with Aramco standards and procedures.
  2. Supervise and coordinate the NDT work activities of other technicians, covering various testing methods.
  3. Prepare accurate inspection reports and maintain comprehensive records of inspection activities.
  4. Review design drawings and engineering specifications related to NDT to ensure conformance with applicable standards and procedures.
  5. Ensure proper usage, handling, and storage of materials in accordance with safety protocols and guidelines.
  6. Perform assigned activities at various locations, adhering to applicable procedures, international specifications, and industry standards.
  7. Continually review company procedures and standards related to NDT, staying updated on the latest protocols and methods.
  8. Provide on-the-job training for colleagues and contractor technicians as needed to ensure competency in NDT techniques and safety practices.
  9. Demonstrate proficiency in various NDT techniques, including Radiographic Testing (RT), Magnetic Particle Testing (MT), Liquid Penetrant Testing (PT), and Visual Testing (VT).

Requirements

  1. Possess a two-year industrial/technical college diploma.
  2. Have at least five years of field experience in Non-Destructive Testing (NDT).
  3. Alternatively, candidates with a diploma and seven years of field experience in NDT, preferably in a science or industrial discipline, may also apply.
  4. Hold a valid ARAMCO RPP Card.
  5. Successfully completed formal classroom training in radiation safety with comprehension verified through examinations, conducted by licensed radiation safety training agencies (minimum 16 hours).
  6. Possess a valid employer-based Level II certification in various NDT techniques.
