About the Job

The role of a Supplier Quality Manager is critical in ensuring the quality of products and services provided by suppliers.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Reviewing quality plans, testing procedures, and type test reports for various packages.
  2. Witnessing factory acceptance tests at suppliers' sites as needed.
  3. Formalizing TPIA agency contracts for inspection to ensure timely inspections within optimum cost.
  4. Conducting audits and qualification processes with suppliers; coordinating and ensuring suppliers' performance evaluation.
  5. Supporting and guiding project supplier quality leads for the implementation of product quality process and issue resolution.
  6. Conducting RCA for supplier quality issues and implementing CAPA.
  7. Conducting internal audits at site locations and preparing standard manufacturing quality plans for key equipment.
  8. Coordinating inspections.
  9. Submitting monthly MIS.

Technical Oversight:

  1. Must be aware of renewable energy business functioning and supplier/subcontractor qualification process.
  2. Knowledge of various international standards required for quality management systems.
  3. Knowledge of various IECS/IEEE standards from a business perspective.
  4. Experience in testing and quality at manufacturing plant level for transformers/inverters is an advantage.
  5. Knowledge of preparation of field quality plans, method statements, and project quality plans.
  6. Must have executed international projects.
