About the Role

The Digital Affairs Director will play a pivotal role in driving engagement, managing affairs, and identifying growth opportunities with key stakeholders, affiliates, and subsidiaries of Aramco Digital (AD). This position will spearhead projects and initiatives that align with AD's strategic objectives and business plans, ensuring effective governance and consistency with Saudi Aramco's digital transformation vision.

Key Responsibilities
  • Relationship Management: Build and sustain strong, long-term relationships with Aramco, its affiliates, and AD's subsidiaries. Serve as the primary liaison, ensuring effective communication and promptly addressing stakeholder needs and concerns.
  • Conflict Resolution: Handle any issues or conflicts involving stakeholders or affiliates professionally and swiftly to maintain high client satisfaction.
  • Needs Assessment: Understand the business goals and objectives of key stakeholders to provide tailored solutions.
  • Strategic Collaboration: Work with internal teams (sales, marketing, finance, public relations, product development) to develop and implement customized strategies that drive growth and engagement.
  • Opportunity Identification: Recognize growth opportunities with main stakeholders and affiliates to maximize revenue potential.
  • Reporting and Presentation: Prepare and present regular reports to AD management, Aramco, and key stakeholders, highlighting performance metrics, results, and areas for improvement.
  • Market Awareness: Monitor oil and gas digital trends to anticipate needs and adjust strategies as required.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain detailed and accurate records of stakeholder interactions and transactions in Customer Relations Management (CRM) system.
  • Initiative Management: Identify and prioritize growth and governance initiatives, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and smooth transactions with stakeholders, Aramco affiliates, and subsidiaries.
  • Cross-Functional Coordination: Promote collaboration across business units and with Aramco and its affiliates to ensure cohesive execution of growth and engagement initiatives. Facilitate cross-functional teams to drive innovation, partnerships, and growth opportunities.
  • Affairs Management: Oversee the planning, execution, and monitoring of AD's stakeholder affairs initiatives. Ensure adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards while gathering customer feedback and measuring performance.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Engage with executive leadership, board members, employees, customers, and external partners to gather input, solicit feedback, and communicate progress on initiatives.
  • Risk Management: Identify and mitigate risks associated with AD partners and stakeholders. Develop strategies and contingency plans to address potential challenges and ensure continuity of engagement.
  • Growth and Sustainability: Identify and evaluate growth opportunities within AD's portfolio. Conduct business evaluations and present findings and recommendations to AD management.
  • Governance and Alignment: Ensure effective governance of digital affiliate strategies and business plans. Align digital affiliates with Saudi Aramco's digital transformation vision. Act as the main communication point between digital affiliates and Saudi Aramco, managing relationships, processing service requests and authorizations, and overseeing capital expenditures. Facilitate engagements between Saudi Aramco and digital affiliates, and report on financial, HSSE, HR, and safety KPIs to Saudi Aramco shareholders.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business and Management, Marketing, Finance and Accounting, IT Systems, Technology, or Engineering. A Master's degree is preferred.
  • Additional Skills: Excellent communication and presentation skills, strong background in marketing and communication, proven ability in managing relationships effectively.
  • Experience Requirements: Minimum of 10 years in IT, Digital Technologies, or finance within IT firms or similar organizations. 3-4 years of direct experience in leading and managing complex projects and initiatives from inception to completion.
