Key Responsibilities:

  • Review Client technical documentation and requirements to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Contribute to the development of the Project Structural Design Brief, outlining the scope of work and responsibilities.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality results, ensuring effective communication and stakeholder engagement.
  • Design structural systems and components, optimizing costs, fabrication simplicity, constructability, and safety.
  • Perform and supervise structural analyses, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Approve steel structure design drawings, verifying their accuracy and integrity.
  • Develop and implement quality control procedures to ensure adherence to best practices.
  • Participate in field engineering activities, applying knowledge and expertise to resolve issues and improve outcomes.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil or Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in offshore structural engineering, preferably in a leadership role.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on delivering high-quality results.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Proficiency in software applications relevant to structural engineering, such as Autodesk Revit or Bentley Systems.
  • Ability to travel frequently, with occasional overnight stays.
