We seek a highly skilled professional to join our team as Head of Training Support. As a key member of our projects department, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with training policies, mandates, and directives across various domains.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Develop and implement effective training solutions that meet the needs of stakeholders.
  2. Lead all training definition activities within the Academic Wing and serve as the prime academic training solution point of contact.
  3. Manage training development frameworks, including technical review processes and solution deliverables.
  4. Coordinate training requirements and acceptance criteria with product and service provider organizations.
  5. Conduct training solution assurance over work done by training solution providers.
  6. Produce and maintain training performance metrics and supporting models.
  7. Ensure staff are suitably qualified and experienced to conduct training design, development, and testing.
  8. Establish strong working relationships with operational teams and delivery teams to optimize training solutions.
  9. Identify and mitigate training solution transition risks.
  10. Inform bid negotiation activities and ensure compliance with safety, health, and environment policies.
  11. Conduct regular assessments and identify skill gaps within the organization.
  12. Collaborate with department heads and HR to develop staff and team training plans.
  13. Stay updated with industry trends and changes to ensure training programs remain relevant and up-to-date.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Educated to degree level or equivalent, with ideal Chartered Status with a relevant Professional Body.
  • Considerable experience in training and engineering lifecycle management processes, including systems approach to training.
  • Experience in training situational analysis, solution design, and development, as well as training evaluation.
  • Knowledge of data capture, analysis, and reporting techniques to measure business performance.
  • Understanding of project management and reporting requirements, including using project reporting systems.
  • Programming and planning experience, preferably in a training environment.
  • Appreciation of Saudization and industrialization strategies to optimize training solutions.
  • A strategic manager with a track record in managing diverse engineering/training projects across business lifecycles.
