About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced IT Manager to join our team at KBR. As a key member of our Corporate IT team, you will be responsible for driving technology transformation and delivering value in planning and delivering operational IT services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage a team of IT operations professionals in the delivery of services.
  • Direct and guide IT delivery in a fast-paced environment.
  • Develop, lead, and manage IT projects to ensure timely delivery and customer satisfaction.
  • Validate project requirements leading to KBR project execution.
  • Ensure that all IT services meet or exceed documented service levels requested by the business.
  • Maintain excellent working relationships with clients, customers, stakeholders, peers, and business partners.
  • Manage local suppliers and conduct service review meetings.
  • Analyse data and metrics to measure service performance and make data-driven decisions.
  • Take an active role in overall service management governance.
  • Provide input and support IT strategy that directly relates to IT provision.
  • Act as a focal point for escalation of issues and take responsibility for resolution and realignment.
  • Support local business IT in representing KBR IT with clients.
  • Support business liaison directors and IT business partners in understanding and communicating non-standard requirements.
  • Contribute to budget and resource management to ensure that IT services are delivered effectively and efficiently.
  • Carry out proposals and contracts appraisals and develop competitive IT estimates.
  • Develop plans and procedures in alignment with client and KBR requirements.
  • Identify areas for improvement within IT processes and implement automation solutions to improve productivity and/or quality.
Requirements
  • At least 15 years of experience in IT, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
  • Degree qualified in an engineering or IT discipline.
  • Good understanding of IT systems, including general technical knowledge of engineering systems, networking/server technologies, portal technologies, and database concepts.
  • Strong customer service, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Experience in leading and running large-scale projects.
  • Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work and adapt in a dynamic environment and recognize and action priority issues.
  • Self-starter with the ability to effectively work with minimal supervision.
  • Must be self-motivated and willing to learn.
  • Understanding of ITIL service management principles.
  • Ability to manage multiple requests effectively.
  • Working knowledge of ServiceNow.
  • Understanding of IT service management processes and frameworks.
  • Ability to build and manage relationships in a matrixed environment.
  • Good appreciation of in-Kingdom IT infrastructure challenges and opportunities.
Preferred Qualifications
  • ITIL Foundation certification.
  • Experience of modern project management.

  • Must be advanced in English language.
  • Must be excellent in communication skills.
  • Saudi National.
