About the Role:

Talent Pal is seeking a highly skilled Labor Coordinator to join our team in Saudi Arabia. As a Labor Coordinator, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our labor management processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Crew Management: Coordinate and manage all rotation schedules to ensure full crew availability and manage shortages.
• Catering and Logistics: Liaise with the Camp Boss to ensure the quality delivery of catering services and staff.
• Rig Management: Liaise with the rig manager to ensure smooth communication and resolve all related issues regarding logistics and staff needs.
• Labor Coordination: Coordinate with rig managers and labor providers to resolve labor-related issues and concerns as they arise.
• Scheduling and Assignments: Maintain and develop work schedules and assignments.
• Performance Management: Address performance concerns raised by rig managers and coordinate disciplinary actions with manpower providers/HR department.
• Incident Investigation: Investigate accidents and incidents and take corrective action as necessary.
• Reporting: Prepare reports on crew productivity and crew time sheet.

Authorities and Skills:

• Authority to Manage Crew Shortages: Authority to manage crew shortages in coordination with rig manager and manpower contractors/HR department.
• Liaison with Manpower Contractors: Authority to liaise with manpower contractors.
• Transportation and Lodging: Authority to request transportation and lodging services for the crew.
• Communication and Problem-Solving: Should be able to explain complex processes and procedures in a way that the team members can understand. Also, to be able to give feedback to the team members and offer constructive criticism when necessary.
• Problem-Solving Skills: To be able to identify issues, develop solutions, and implement them.
• Reasoning and Common Sense: Must possess sound reasoning skills, common sense, and the ability to follow directions.
• Mathematical and Computer Skills: Must possess basic mathematical skills (equivalent to a high school education) and be proficient in rig math. Must also possess advanced computer skills (especially MS Excel).
