Role Summary

The Director of Governance will be responsible for ensuring adherence to corporate governance standards, including company registration and licensing compliance. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of corporate governance and a proven track record of implementing effective governance practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure adherence to corporate governance standards, including company registration and licensing compliance.
  • Support the preparation of board meetings, shareholder agreements, and other governance-related documentation.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the groups corporate structure and legal obligations.

Requirements:

  • Bachelors degree in Law (LLB) or equivalent; a Masters degree in Law (LLM) is preferred.
  • 8+ years of experience in corporate or commercial law, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.
  • Proven experience in corporate governance and compliance.
