Job Description

This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires expertise in radiology, diagnosis, and treatment. The successful candidate will be responsible for explaining procedures to patients, preparing equipment, positioning patients for imaging exams, monitoring patients during exams, documenting information, reporting important information to physicians, ensuring patient safety, producing diagnostic images of soft tissues, using sound waves to obtain images of organs and tissues, administering targeted doses of radiation, and administering trace amounts of radiopharmaceuticals.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, physicians, and other healthcare professionals. Strong judgment and decision-making skills are also essential, as well as leadership skills and empathy.
