Key Accountabilities:

  1. Ensure the delivery of Forbes 5-star personalized guest experiences across all areas of the hotel.
  2. Build a high-performing and highly engaged team, inspiring them to strive for excellence in guest service, comfort, and satisfaction.
  3. Optimize both profitability and value of The Savoy brand, working in partnership with Sales and Marketing, Finance, Purchasing, IT, and Talent and Culture.

Guest Centric:

  1. Develop high-quality relationships with guests, ensuring that all tasks relating to guest service, comfort, and satisfaction are treated with utmost priority.
  2. Lead by example, inspiring the team to continuously improve the guest experience.
  3. Monitor and analyze feedback and trends in guest satisfaction, taking appropriate action to enhance the experience.

Operations:

  1. Ensure that the team is fully aware of Standard Operating Procedures, including Forbes 5-star and LQA standards, and are capable of delivering them.
  2. Build a culture of prioritizing quality improvement through training plans, quality audits, corrective action plans, and regular review.
  3. Resolve guest problems or complaints effectively, working closely with Heads of Department to handle high-profile guests.

Talent & Culture:

  1. Work in partnership with the Director of Talent and Culture to create a positive, diverse, and empowered high-performance culture, role-modeling inclusive leadership and nurturing talent.
  2. Ensure that Standard Operating Procedures and On-Job Training Programs are in place and delivered across the operations to build capability and meet brand and service standards.

Budgeting and Cost Control:

  1. Work in partnership with the Director of Finance and Business Services to optimize financial performance, enhancing brand reputation and value.
  2. Prepare the operational annual budget in line with hotel strategy, driving revenue increases through F&B sales and marketing strategy.

Additional Responsibilities:

  1. Champion sustainability efforts, diversity, and inclusion, and other Accor-related programs in the operation.
  2. Respond to changes dictated by the needs of the industry, company, or hotel.

Requirements:

  1. Extensive hotel operations experience in a senior leadership role, within a similar hotel brand.
  2. University/College degree in a related discipline preferred.
  3. Demonstrates courage, confidence, and a positive outlook across a wide range of challenging situations.
