As an experienced Senior Operations Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for delivering impactful results in a fast-paced environment. This role requires versatile and technical individuals who can drive project success from planning to execution.
Key Responsibilities:
- End-to-end ownership for large-scale engineering projects, including planning, design, procurement, installation, commissioning, and qualification.
- Dive deep on technical details and provide value engineering and innovative solutions to drive frugality and continuous improvements.
- Lead technical design reviews and propose design solutions for material handling and storage solutions that meet both business needs and internal standards.
- Create, submit, and track relevant requests to ensure that all projects are delivered within budget and best overall value.
- Assess and communicate project status, drive escalations on potential risks and delays across multiple teams.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of industrial engineer, operations engineer, manufacturing engineer, or project engineer experience in a manufacturing environment
- Bachelor's degree
- Experience working with and managing third-party vendors
- Experience with Six Sigma, lean manufacturing
