We are seeking a Senior Accountant to lead our financial operations at Fast Access. In this critical role, you will oversee the management of core accounting functions, prepare financial reports, and support cross-functional teams with financial expertise.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Financial Reporting and Compliance:
    • Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.
    • Manage general ledger functions, ensuring accurate recording, classifying, and summarizing of financial transactions.
    • Oversee month-end and year-end closing activities, including reconciliations, accruals, and provisions.
  • Accounts Payable and Receivable Management:
    • Ensure timely and accurate processing of vendor invoices, payments, and reconciliations.
    • Manage customer accounts, including invoicing, collections, and addressing discrepancies.
    • Maintain an updated listing of accounts payable and accounts receivable.
  • Tax and Compliance:
    • Oversee compliance with tax regulations, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
    • Support internal and external audits, ensuring seamless coordination.
    • Ensure transactions align with financial policies and procedures.
  • Vendor and Employee Expense Management:
    • Negotiate payment terms and secure applicable discounts with vendors.
    • Verify and process employee reimbursements and travel-related expenses.
  • Process Improvement and Systems Development:
    • Identify opportunities for enhancements to accounting processes.
    • Manage the setup and maintenance of customers and vendors in ERP systems.
    • Develop internal controls to safeguard financial data and enhance reporting standards.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA, CMA, or equivalent is a plus).
  • Minimum of 4 years of accounting experience.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems.
  • Strong knowledge of IFRS and financial reporting standards.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
