The Role:

This is a crucial position in ensuring the smooth operation of a hotel's all-day or fine dining restaurant. The Cafe Boulud Assistant Manager – Restaurant Hostess is responsible for planning, organizing, controlling, and directing the work of employees. This role plays a vital part in maintaining high levels of guest satisfaction.

The Cafe Boulud Assistant Manager – Restaurant Hostess creates and implements efficient systems and processes to ensure seamless operations. This includes overseeing scheduling, monitoring inventory levels, managing food and beverage quality standards, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee restaurant operations and maintain high levels of guest satisfactionCreate and implement efficient systems and processesManage food and beverage quality standards and inventory levelsEvaluate and improve performance

Requirements:

The ideal candidate will have a college degree preferably specializing in hotel/restaurant management. 2 – 3 years of restaurant management experience in a luxury hotel or resort is also required. Excellent reading, writing and oral proficiency in English is essential. Additionally, the ability to operate computer equipment and other food & beverage computer systems is necessary. Strong leadership & organizational skills are also required.
