Job Title: Lead Bariatric Surgeon Specialist

We are seeking a highly experienced Bariatric Surgeon to provide exceptional medical care and support to our clients in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Follow-up with patients post-bariatric surgery to ensure optimal recovery and well-being, providing personalized attention to their unique needs and circumstances.
  • Participate in community outreach initiatives to promote bariatric surgery services and raise awareness about weight management through engaging public talks and workshops.
  • Maintain accurate and timely completion of medical records, coding, billing schedules, and other necessary paperwork, adhering to industry standards and best practices.
  • Offer expert consultation on bariatric surgical matters, providing guidance and support to colleagues and patients alike, fostering a collaborative environment that promotes knowledge sharing and professional growth.
  • Contribute to relevant committees as needed, bringing a wealth of knowledge and experience to drive positive change and improve patient outcomes.
  • Provide on-call coverage for bariatric surgery, ensuring seamless patient care 24/7 and responding promptly to emergencies.

Requirements:

  • A Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree from a reputable institution, demonstrating a strong foundation in medical principles and ethics.
  • Completion of a general surgery residency program, showcasing advanced skills and knowledge in surgical procedures.
  • A minimum of two years of experience or fellowship training in advanced laparoscopic and bariatric surgery, highlighting expertise in complex procedures and patient care.
  • Board certification or eligibility in general surgery, signifying a commitment to ongoing professional development and excellence.

Experience: 5-10 years of experience in a similar role, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to a team-oriented environment.

License:

  • A valid SCFHS License as a Consultant (for candidates within KSA), ensuring compliance with local regulations and standards.
  • Eligibility to obtain a medical license according to SCFHS criteria (for candidates outside KSA), facilitating international collaboration and cooperation.
  • A valid medical license from your home country, demonstrating recognition and respect for national and international medical standards.
