Job Title: Pulmonology Consultant

Department: Pulmonology

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Pulmonology Consultant to join our prestigious hospital in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. As a Pulmonology Consultant, you will lead the pulmonary medicine team, providing specialized respiratory care to patients with various pulmonary disorders.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality pulmonary care to patients, including asthma, COPD, pulmonary fibrosis, lung cancer, and respiratory infections.
  • Offer consultative services as requested.
  • Supervise fellows, staff/assistant physicians, and residents.
  • Participate in training and teaching of residents and fellows in pulmonary medicine.
  • Contribute to research activities and participate in committees as needed.
  • Perform special procedures as privileged.
  • Follow hospital policies and procedures.

Requirements:

  • Graduate from a medical school of good standing.
  • Completion of required training in specialty and/or subspecialty.
  • Saudi Arab or American/European Board Certification or equivalent.
  • Membership and/or Fellowship status in America and/or Europe or their equivalent.
  • A certificate recognized by the Saudi commission is a must.
  • Dataflow is a must.

Professional Experience:

  • Min. 3-4 years Post Board/Fellowship in specialty.
  • Registered member of the Saudi Board Council.

Language:

  • Proficiency in English; additional proficiency in Arabic may be beneficial.
