Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate dental assistant to provide support services to pilgrims during the Hajj season. This temporary role involves assisting licensed dentists in delivering high-quality care in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Clinical Assistance:
   • Assist dentists in all dental procedures, including examinations, treatments, and surgeries.
   • Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment before and after use.
   • Maintain a clean and organized clinical environment.
2. Patient Care:
   • Provide pre- and post-procedure care to patients.
   • Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care.
   • Ensure patient comfort and manage any anxiety they may have about dental procedures.
3. Administrative Duties:
   • Maintain accurate and confidential patient records.
   • Schedule and confirm patient appointments.
   • Manage inventory and order supplies as needed.
4. Emergency Support:
   • Assist in handling dental emergencies promptly and efficiently.
   • Coordinate with other healthcare professionals as needed.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) or equivalent qualification.
• Minimum of 1-2 years of experience as a dental assistant.
• Current CPR certification.
• Knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization methods.
• Familiarity with dental software and record-keeping.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English and Arabic.
• Excellent manual dexterity and precision.
