Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Manager to lead our software development and applications deployment projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Develop and implement project plans, ensuring timely and within-budget delivery of software development and applications deployment projects.
  2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate project risks, and ensure accurate project progress reporting to stakeholders.
  3. Monitor project execution, taking proactive measures to prevent delays and ensure project plans are met.
  4. Communicate effectively with project stakeholders, including IT management, development teams, and clients.
  5. Conduct thorough UATs for applications, ensuring high-quality delivery.
  6. Resolve conflicts and negotiate agreements to close projects and ensure successful go-live with systems.
  7. Manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks and resources effectively.
  8. Prepare and present progress reports to senior management, highlighting project achievements and areas for improvement.
Requirements
  1. 5 to 6 years of experience in software development and applications deployment project management, with a strong track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.
  2. Proven experience working in a PMO structure, with a focus on project management rather than individual project management.
  3. Experience working as a Project Manager on the client side, with a strong understanding of client needs and expectations.
  4. Prior experience with SCRUM/Agile methodologies in enterprise-level application development projects.
  5. PMP Certification is a must, demonstrating a high level of project management expertise.
  6. Strong experience with project management tools and software solutions, with the ability to adapt to new technologies.
Desirable Skills
  1. Sufficient technical background to provide leadership and guidance to development teams.
  2. Ability to accurately evaluate complex project risks and issues.
  3. Solid understanding of software development life cycle models and Agile project management principles.
  4. Proven experience in project management in the information technology sector, with a strong understanding of IT project management best practices.
  5. Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills.
  6. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  7. Solid organizational skills, including attention to detail and multitasking abilities.
