Job Summary:

The Principal Linguist will provide critical language support for military operations and be responsible for interpreting during interviews, meetings, and conferences.

Responsibilities:

  • Operational contract linguist support for military operations.
  • Interpretation during interviews, meetings, and conferences.
  • Transcription and analysis of verbal communications.
  • Research and analysis of foreign language documents.
  • Translation and interpretation services for Somali and Arabic languages.

Requirements:

  • U.S. citizenship with ILR proficiency level 3 in target language and proficiency level 3 in English.
  • Active TS/SCI clearance for access to classified information.
  • Ability to conduct missions in austere and hazardous environments.
  • Flexibility to work shifts and extended hours in support of 24 x 7 operations.
  • Familiarity with local culture and customs, with ability to conduct oneself accordingly.
  • Ability to meet MOD15 requirements put into place by the military.
