Our global Data Practice of 800+ practitioners is an established team of data strategists, analysts, scientists, architects, and engineers who help client teams harness the power of data to drive insight, optimize performance, and commercialize data opportunities.

We translate strategy into action – designing, implementing, and mobilizing innovative data capabilities with a focus on efficiency and scalability, and partnering with leading vendors and industry bodies.

Your Responsibilities
  • You will support clients with data architecture design and delivery, providing best practice guidance on data management and architecture development and optimization.
  • You will build a set of services and capabilities that support Capco's vision of Modern Data Architecture to enable efficient, transparent, and high-quality data management.
  • You will manage small to medium project teams and support Capco Data Architecture business development.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Define and enforce data architecture, modeling, and design standards, tools, and best practices.
  • Manage end-to-end data architecture from selecting the platform, designing the technical architecture, and developing the application to testing and implementing the proposed solution.
  • Lead the development of conceptual, logical, and physical data models.
  • Design and oversee implementation of RDBMS, operational data store (ODS), data marts, and data lakes.
  • Support the development of data tools for reporting, visualization, analytics, and machine learning.
  • Design and manage data infrastructure to extract, organize, and store data for authorized users to access.
  • Develop and maintain database design and architecture documentation.
  • Design the integration multiple systems to create an intelligent and resilient information system solution.
  • Identify and research business development opportunities on new or existing clients and aiding the development of client proposals and bids.
Essential Skills & Expertise:
  • Experience architecting & implementing data strategy, solutions & governance models within Financial Services industry.
  • Proven experience in defining and implementing data architecture strategies.
  • In-depth understanding of database structure principles and hands-on experience with RDBMS and NoSQL databases.
  • Contextual Data Modelling, Entity Relationship Modelling, Logical & Physical Data Modelling.
  • Strong expertise in creating conceptual, logical, and physical data models, and hands-on experience with modelling tools (e.g., Erwin or others)
  • Strong experience with warehouse and data lake design and implementation approaches.
  • Experienced working in a multi-client environment emphasizing collaboration and teamwork.
  • Being comfortable working across multiple projects and initiatives, driving the growth of new and existing data capabilities, engaging internal and external stakeholders
  • Effective teamworking with very good analytical and conceptual skills and assertiveness.
  • Excellent communication skills for technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Good commercial focus, ability to develop client relationships develop data propositions and direct client opportunities
