Job Overview

We're seeking an experienced Training Coordinator to lead our organizational training strategy, focusing on developing the skills and knowledge of our operations team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in training coordination and development, with excellent communication and organizational skills.

Main Responsibilities

Training Strategy Development:

  1. Design and implement a comprehensive training schedule and calendar, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
  2. Collaborate with trainers, subject matter experts, and stakeholders to create engaging and effective training programs.
  3. Work closely with HR to ensure seamless onboarding and training processes for new joiners.
  4. Update training materials, resources, and documentation regularly to maintain accuracy and relevance.

Participant Engagement:

  1. Develop and implement strategies to engage new joiners and ensure they receive the necessary training and guidance to excel in their roles.
  2. Coordinate with trainers to develop and administer quizzes, surveys, and other assessments to gauge participant understanding and progress.
  3. Attend training-related meetings and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive training initiatives forward.
  4. Conduct regular knowledge assessments and evaluations to identify areas for improvement.
  5. Conduct or assist in train-the-trainer sessions to enhance trainer skills and confidence.

Administrative Support:

  1. Provide administrative support to ensure efficient training delivery and administration.
  2. Create and maintain training tools, including curricula, SOPs, presentations, and other materials.
  3. Ensure training resources, such as session slides, quizzes, and surveys, are accurate and up-to-date.
  4. Prepare training-related documentation, including training agendas, handouts, and certificates.
  5. Maintain accurate records and updates of participant training progress.

Communication and Collaboration:

  1. Collaborate with the Training Manager and stakeholders to ensure alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
  2. Communicate effectively with trainers, trainees, and stakeholders to facilitate smooth training delivery and administration.
  3. Coordinate with HR to ensure effective communication and collaboration across departments.
  4. Serve as a liaison between trainers, trainees, and stakeholders to resolve issues and address concerns.

Evaluation and Improvement:

  1. Assist in identifying training needs and gaps within operations.
  2. Collect feedback from trainees and trainers to evaluate training effectiveness and impact.
  3. Analyze training data to prepare reports on key metrics, such as participant satisfaction, learning outcomes, and training impact.
  4. Recommend improvements based on evaluation results.

Monitoring and Quality Assurance:

  1. Monitor and update training progress to ensure timely completion and accuracy.
  2. Assist in developing and implementing training visuals, such as PowerPoint presentations.
  3. Regularly review and update operational-related SOPs to ensure compliance and best practices.
  4. Maintain control and organization of all training passports.
  5. Record completed training sessions by stamping and stickering each team member's training passport.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
  • At least 1-2 years of experience in training coordination or a similar role.
  • Strong background in the food / bulk cooking industry.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Result-oriented, driven, and flexible with a commitment to continuous improvement.
  • Proficient in Google Docs, Sheets, Slides, and Forms, as well as training apps and platforms.
