The role of a Data Center Operations Manager in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is a challenging and rewarding position that requires strong leadership skills and technical expertise. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the operation and maintenance of one or more Amazon Web Services (AWS) data center clusters, ensuring the highest standards of safety, security, availability, scaling, and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities
  • Hiring, managing, and developing a team of operations management professionals, including compute operations managers, engineering operations managers, logistics operations managers, and security operations managers.
  • Attaining organizational performance goals and objectives relating to safety, security, availability, scaling, and efficiency.
  • Planning and executing the Infrastructure Operations component of new AWS datacenter build outs and expansions, including server hardware installation, troubleshooting and repair, security system installation, and related Operations tasks.
  • Operating and maintaining mechanical, electrical, and controls systems for Amazon datacenters, including preventive maintenance, corrective maintenance, and change management.
  • Vendor management of colocation datacenter services providers to meet or exceed contracted performance SLAs.
  • Safety, security, and availability incident response, incident management, and incident resolution.
  • Continuous improvement of operational processes, procedures, methods, and tools.
