Job Summary

Duncan & Ross is seeking a skilled MEP Systems Modeler to join our team. As a BIM Specialist for MEP projects, you will be responsible for creating and managing detailed 3D models for MEP systems in alignment with project requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop accurate 3D models of MEP systems, ensuring compliance with design specifications and project standards.
  • Collaborate with engineers and project managers to gather requirements and coordinate model elements.
  • Create and maintain detailed documentation related to model creation and changes.
  • Perform clash detection and resolve conflicts between MEP systems and other disciplines.
  • Assist in the preparation of construction documents and drawings.
  • Stay current with industry standards and best practices in BIM and MEP design.
  • Participate in project meetings and provide updates on modeling progress and challenges.

Qualifications:

  • Associates degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a BIM Modeler with a focus on MEP systems.
  • Proficiency in BIM software, particularly Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, and other relevant tools.
  • Strong understanding of MEP design principles, codes, and regulations.
  • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate effectively.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certification in BIM or related fields.
  • Experience with energy modeling and analysis software.
  • Familiarity with project management software.
