Children's Healthcare Professional Job Description
This is a unique opportunity to join our team as a Head Nurse in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing unit performance plans, preparing quarterly reports, and maintaining records of activity and outcomes.
Key Accountabilities:
- Develop and sustain own knowledge, clinical skills, and professional awareness
- Provide documented evidence of performance and maintenance of skills consistent with position
- Treat colleagues, patients, and visitors with dignity and respect at all times
- Act as an advocate for patients and families
- Identify areas that will improve the quality of patient care and issues that will negatively impact on patient care outcomes
Requirements:
The ideal candidate should possess a Bachelor's degree in nursing, with 7 years of experience in the same field and 3 years in the same position as head nurse. A Master's or diploma in Management is preferable, along with managerial skills and dataflow expertise. Fluency in English is also a must.
